Wood Oven Bread

Our range is continually evolving and presently consists of the following varieties of handmade wood oven bread gently cut into bite sized pieces and slowly baked until crunchy.

Murray River Salted
Anything but plain! Sprinkled with Murray River salt, a delicious, pink salt flake, this bread makes a perfect mini bruschetta with fresh vine ripened cherry tomatoes, peppery basil and a drizzle of the finest extra virgin olive oil.

Red Wine & Olive
Delicious as part of a sumptuous antipasto platter with a selection of chargrilled vegetables, salamis, tapenade and soft bocconcini style cheese.

Roast Pumpkin & Lemon Myrtle
Made with a hint of curry, this bread is devine with a spicy pumpkin dip. Alternatively, add to a plate with double smoked ham and a selection of tasty, matured cheeses.

Sundried Tomato and Basil
Enjoy with cheese and pesto style dips or together with the Roast Pumpkin and Lemon Myrtle bites, a warm mini meatloaf and our new Tomato Chutney for an inviting winter platter.

Wattleseed Balsamic Onion & Cracked Pepper
Adding locally produced Wattleseed Balsamic Vinegar to caramelized onions and enough cracked pepper to give it a bit of bite, this bread works well with sharp cheeses and our new Wattleseed Balsamic Onion Marmalade.  

Savoury Mix
Unable to choose which flavour to try? Our Savoury Mix is the ideal way to try four of our most popular varieties – Red Wine & Olive, Roast Pumpkin & Lemon Myrtle, Sundried Tomato & Basil and Wattleseed Balsamic Onion & Cracked Pepper. The inviting mix of colours and flavours will make any platter stand out.

Vintage Cheddar and Chutney
Using our own homemade tomato chutney (a family recipe for many years) and a tasty vintage cheddar cheese, this bread is a wonderful addition to any cheese or grazing platter. Delicious on its own as a healthy snack alternative, this bread leaves a very pleasant aftertaste which will have you coming back for more every time.   

Dried Apricot & Almond
Ideal as part of a cheese platter with fresh seasonal fruit or dried fruit and almonds. Add a soft, ripe camembert or creamy blue and a sticky fruit paste or spread. Yum!. 

Gourmet Spreads

A delicious range of full bodied handmade gourmet spreads, the ideal accompaniment to our bread bites. 

Spiced Pear Chutney
Using dried pears for a more robust flavour, this chutney completes the perfect ploughman’s (or blockie’s) platter along with a selection of sliced meat (especially emu ham), vintage cheddar cheese and freshly baked crusty bread. Use as an ingredient in a fruity Indian curry to enhance the sweet and spicy flavours.

Tomato Chutney
A recipe Grandpa has always used. Our family has enjoyed this tasty, chunkier and slightly spicy chutney as an alternative to sauce for many years. Add a tablespoon of worstershire, soy and sweet chilli sauce to half a cup of Tomato Chutney and spoon through oven roasted potatoes. Top with grated cheese and return to the oven until cheese has melted and become golden. Serve with your favourite steak and green vegetables – you won’t be disappointed.

Wattleseed Balsamic Onion Marmalade
This sweet and peppery marmalade makes a wonderful accompaniment to cheese, meat, sausages and burgers. Try as a glaze on kangaroo or pork, remembering to baste frequently. Add a spoonful to camembert, bocconcini or soft blue cheese in a tart shell and warm for a tasty hors d’oeuvre.
