Biscuits Created by Hand, Baked to Perfection
At Costa’s Biskotery we create biscuits and cookies using traditional methods with the finest ingredients.
Our aim is to be the preferred supplier of quality biscuits (including GLUTEN FREE) to cafes, delis, retailers, caterers and wherever good food is to be found. Today our products are available through cafes and delis around metropolitan Melbourne and country Victoria. We supply direct and through distributors. We are keen to appoint more distributors around Australia and would welcome interest from interested parties.
We start with the best quality raw ingredients to ensure we get the best quality biscuits.
There is no other way!
That is why you will always find only pure unsalted butter in any of our products where it would be cheaper to use a shortbread margarine or vegetable oil with added butter essence. We use the freshest nuts, premium quality jams and only the best chocolates from Cadbury and Nestle.
Quality Control and Testing
We take extra ordinary measures to ensure that our biscuits reach you in a condition which approximates that when the biscuits come out of our ovens.
All our biscuits and cookies are hand sorted and packed into cardboard cartons with polypropylene bag liners.
The attractive sturdy carton ensures that the product remains in a good condition when it reaches you. The “50 micron” thick bag liner ensures that moisture, which is the enemy of biscuits, is prevented from coming into contact with the biscuits. The label information on the carton is in accordance with FSANZ food standards reqirements.
Once the seal of the bag liner is broken we recommend you place biscuits into an airtight container to maintain freshness and prolong the shelf-life of the product.
All our products tested regularly by EML Laboratories as part of our food safety program and to ensure our gluten free products remain gluten free.
Cookie Jars
If you are a retailer you may want to store your biscuits in some of our glass cookie jars. Our choice of jars reflects the premium quality of the biscuits and have been selected to complement the design of our branded labels containing full nutritional information on the reverse side. The information supplied is in accordance with FSANZ food standards requirements. We also supply timber cookie jars stands to present the product and save counter space.
Individually wrapped and gluten free.
For retail and portion control purposes we also offer individually wrapped biscuits and cookies which are labelled with nutritional information in accordance with FSANZ food standards requirements. The same applies for our gluten free products which are all wrapped to ensure product integrity.
