GLENLOTH FREE RANGE CORN FED CHICKEN

Glenloth Free Range chickens are fed on a diet of multiple grains, including corn, that give the meat a rich taste and colour. The chickens pick their way across open paddocks in the clean air of the Victorian Mallee, living as chickens are supposed to live. No growth hormones or antibiotics are used in rearing of the birds.

All Glenloth Free Range Corn Fed Chicken is processed on site to maintain the highest quality standards.

GLENLOTH GAME

Glenloth Game produces premium Squab and Pheasant. Over the past ten years Glenloth Game has received numerous awards cementing its notable reputation. Glenloth Game Birds are reared on a strict diet that remains consistent to guarantee dependability in taste and quality. No growth hormones or antibiotics are used in rearing of the birds.

Squab

Squab is a young domestic pigeon that has never flown and is therefore extremely tender, moist and full of flavour. Interestingly Squab is known to be one of the most easily digested meats. Glenloth Game breed the popular White King and Mondaine Cross, which are fed on a tightly monitored diet that is followed all year around to ensure consistency of flavour and quality of the birds. Squab is processed between 28-31 days of age and available all year around with peak production from October through to March.

Pheasant

Pheasant are reared in a similar fashion by Glenloth Game. As chicks they require a constant temperature and are therefore raised in an insulated shed for the first four weeks. The birds are then placed in a roofed and sheltered area for a couple of weeks. This allows them to adjust to the free-range lifestyle they will be enjoying. Male birds are processed at around 20 weeks of age while females at 24 weeks of age.

Pheasant season traditionally runs from April through to July.
