Christmas Puddings
Based on the Mornington Peninsula, and part of the Mornington Peninsula Gourmet group, all our Christmas puddings are individually hand made using only the finest Australian fruit and ingredients from both the Mornington Peninsula and all around Australia. Only our spices are imported. With our use of traditional method, nearly 70% fruit and our strict attention to detail you can be sure of that real pudding taste! The puddings are hermetically sealed to preserve and enhance flavour which allows us to avoid artificial colours, flavours and preservatives.
Our Puddings are all fully cooked and ready to be served. You can heat them in the microwave or use the traditional method of steaming in the pot. Make sure you use a sharp knife to cut your pudding.
Gluten Free puddings are also available! And they don’t taste gluten free, we have frequently been told these are the best tasting puddings. Why? We use gluten free flour and gluten free bread crumbs. Generally when you purchase gluten free bread crumbs it is actually ‘rice’ crumbs. Rice crumbs are quite coarse. Instead we use real gluten bread crumbs, the gluten free bread is baked, and crumbed, so you get a light melt in your mouth, taste!
Grandma’s Puddings is Victorian Farmers Market accredited. In 2011 Grandma’s Puddings was in the final 4 of the Food Magazines “Food Challenge Awards – Baked Goods category”.
We wrap the puddings in high quality festive, calico or black fabrics. They make a wonderful gift or centre piece in the lead up to the festive season.
Why stock our puddings in your shop? Customers are particular about puddings, and no-one wants to wait until Christmas day to actually taste the pudding you purchased. We provide our stockists with tasting size samples to share with your customers. Based on the feedback from our current stockists, once people taste, they buy! Many of our stockist place a 2nd order in the season and their orders seem to approx double each year.
Corporate Gifts
Grandma’s Traditional Plum Puddings are both a delicious and festive way to reward your employees or thank your clients and customers. All our puddings are presented in our festive, calico or black fabric with beautiful ribbons to provide a gift of distinction. Upon request we are able to personalise the ribbon to include your business name for a small fee.
Our corporate clients include local businesses; hospitals; private school boards through to large listed companies with well known household names. Our clients repeat their orders each year, some gifting the pudding itself while others creating their own hamper by adding a ham and wine.
