Highly commended by some of Queensland's finest chefs, Sunshine Vanilla is not only gaining a desirable reputation on the restaurant scene but is also loved by gourmet food enthusiasts.

Origin: Sourced directly from the jungles of Papua New Guinea (currently one of the top 3 Nations to export Vanilla Beans), Sunshine Vanilla has a strong background and relationship with local and commercial growers. Vanilla Beans supplied by Sunshine Vanilla are Organic. Whilst we do not currently have the official accreditation (Something we are looking into in the future), our producers do have official certification with Australian Certified Organic.

Currently Sunshine Vanilla only sells the Vanilla Planifolia variety (also commonly known as Bourbon Vanilla). Vanilla Planifolia enjoys a stronger demand in the market, due to its higher vanillin content, which contributes to a stronger and sweeter aroma than that produced by Vanilla Tahitensis (commonly known as Tahitian Vanilla)

Grade: All vanilla beans supplied by Sunshine Vanilla, are graded as A grade beans (Whole Beans that are 15cm & Longer). Generally our Vanilla Beans average between 16 – 16.5cm.
