The Old Colonial Cookie Company, which is Australian owned and operated, started in 1981 in the picturesque Yarra Valley ranges of Victoria. The company is dedicated to the production of shortbread, following a traditional Scottish recipe.
Using pure Australian ingredients, the full range of delicious Butterfingers shortbread is Kosher and Halal certified and produced under an independently accredited HACCP Food Safety Program.
The shortbread is free from preservatives and artificial colours.
All product lines have a 12-month shelf life and are packed into tamper-evident, heat-sealed packs. Retailers can note that they are presented in a range of shelf-friendly recyclable packaging.

175g Butterfingers Shortbread (as pictured)
These 175g packs are available in Pure Butter, Macadamia, Choc Chip, Ginger and Lemon Myrtle varieties. The fingers of shortbread are delicious and the flavourings complement the wonderful taste and texture of the shortbread.
150g Lander's Australian Bites (as pictured)
This shortbread range comes as scrumptious bite-size biscuits in either Macadamia, Macadamia with Choc Chip, Choc Orange and Ginger varieties. They are the ultimate accompaniment to after-dinner dining, as a tasty snack on their own or with coffee or tea.
150g Butterfingers Petticoat Tails
Especially for the traditionalists, these packs comprise 150g Butterfingers Shortbread in either Pure Butter or Macadamia varieties.
20g & 80g Butterfingers Portion Control (as pictured)
The 20g portion pack contains two Butterfingers Pure Butter Shortbread biscuits per pack.
The 80g varieties of Butterfingers Shortbread are available in Pure Butter, Macadamia and Macadamia with Choc Chip.
175g Butterfingers Gluten Free (as pictured)
The Butterfingers deliciously smooth traditional pure butter shortbread favourite is now available in gluten free for all to enjoy. It comes in Pure Butter and Macadamia varieties. This means anyone who has coeliac disease, or a gluten/wheat intolerance can still enjoy melt-in-your-mouth Butterfingers shortbread, made in its signature "finger" shape. With no artificial colours or preservatives and containing only natural Australian ingredients, this deliciously smooth and sweet traditional shortbread is also Kosher and Halal certified.
150g Old Colonial Cookie Company Gourmet Pouch Pack
This product line has been developed for specialty outlets, wineries, hampers and gourmet stores. The range comprises two attractive pouch pack varieties that contain delicious bite-sized biscuits. The shortbread is available in either a Macadamia or Lemon Myrtle variety.
The product range exists in more than 60 different packaging forms from 20g to 700g for local and export markets for branded, private label and international-specific packaging needs. This includes packs for the foodservice industry; the Butterfingers Interlude gift pack range; Australiana tins, particularly suitable for the duty free market; a gold gift box range; and new pouch packs for the gourmet market. In addition, many of the products are sought after for fundraising programs.
