Our family grows, processes and markets premium Australian NASAA certified organic extra virgin olive oil and a zesty premium lemon-pressed extra virgin olive oil. We pride ourselves in producing organic olive oil of exceptional quality and flavour.
Established in 1943, the Toscana Olive plantation is one of Australia's oldest and largest producers of organic extra virgin olive oil.
We currently produce three types of extra virgin olive oil and have recently added an orange caramelised balsamic vinegar to our range.
All products are available for retail or foodservice.
Premium organic extra virgin olive oil
Toscana's 'original' product - premium quality cold pressed organic extra virgin olive oil. This is a full bodied medium olive oil, best used as a table or finishing olive oil. It displays fruity olive characteristics, with a subtle hint of pepper and an overall smooth mouth feel. It is well balanced so is perfect to complement and enhance almost any dish. Enjoy with pasta, salads, crusty bread, roast vegetables, soups etc.
Lemon pressed extra virgin olive oil
Toscana Olives is renowned for its lemon-pressed extra virgin olive oil. As the first in Australia to produce this oil by the traditional Italian 'agrumato' method: pressing fresh Australian lemons together with our organic olives, we have perfected the technique. Lemon pressed olive oil has a bold flavour superior to that of an infused oil or one made by adding lemon at a later time. This zesty oil is best enjoyed drizzled over seafood, salads and vegetables.
Garlic infused extra virgin olive oil
Premium organic extra virgin olive oil infused with fresh natural garlic oil. This oil is a convenient way to add garlic flavour to any dish. Instead of crushing a clove of garlic, use a drizzle of garlic oil. Make your own garlic bread, sautee mushrooms, bruschetta, drizzle on wood oven pizza before serving, brush meats before grilling , coat roast vegetables etc.
Golden orange caramelised balsamic finishing vinegar
Toscana Olives has worked with Chef Peter Nicholson, who specially crafted this vinegar to complement our range of olive oils. We named it golden orange caramelised balsamic because its two main ingredients are Australian oranges and golden syrup (for the caramelisation). It is a sweet, fruity vinegar with subtle spice flavours and is not too strong on the palate. A beautiful combination with our lemon pressed olive oil on salads, with rich meats such as duck and even strawberries and ice cream.
