We only source the newest crop of Arabica coffee beans from the world’s finest coffee growing regions. Each coffee is sample roasted for tasting in-house to ensure it has superior quality in flavour, acidity, body and aroma before making it on to our product range. Through our exciting range of single origin coffees you’ll experience the incredible diversity of flavours, variety of aromas and nuances of character that each unique coffee can offer.
All our coffee is freshly roasted-to-order and then immediately packed into superior coffee packaging that is non-permeable and featuring a one-way valve. After roasting, coffee “de-gasses” letting out CO2. The one-way valve allows this gas to escape without letting in any outside air, which causes oxidisation and deterioration of the beans. You won’t find a “use by” date on our products, but rather a “Packed on” date, so you can be sure you are only receiving the freshest product. Freshness and quality are our absolute guarantee.
To complement the coffee range, Witham’s also carries a wide range of high quality products that are essential in any café, office or coffee connoisseurs home. These include a select range of loose leaf teas and herbal infusions, a specially developed Drinking Chocolate perfect for chocolate beverages and sprinkling on cappuccinos, Chai powder, Da Vinci flavoured syrups, barista tools and accessories, and a series of professionally branded products including raw sugar sticks, take-away cups, ceramic cups and mugs, barriers and umbrellas.
Single Origin Coffees
Single Origin coffee simply means it is the coffee from that particular origin. As with wines, the country the coffee is grown in plays a significant role in the flavor, body and aroma profile. This is because of varying soil types, temperatures, altitude and processing methods that the country uses. A single-origin coffee will most likely have slightly differing flavour characteristics from one season to the next.
Blends
Blending coffee is very similar to wine blending. A certain coffee’s characteristics are utilized to provide a flavour, body or acidity element to the blend. For example a Papua New Guinea coffee is used to create a bright, sweet acidity to a blend, whereas an unwashed Ethiopian Djimmah will produce deep chocolaty, earthy flavour notes.
We have developed 8 blends for your enjoyment.
Witham’s Coffee also freshly roasts and supplies:
- SWISS WATER® Process decaffeinated coffees which are 100% chemical free and 99.9% caffeine free
